DALLAS COWBOYS GOLF COURSE, Dallas TX - March 2013

Updated: Aug 27, 2019

While in Dallas Texas for a visit to one of Marriott's newest hotels - The Gaylord Texan we played the golf course owned by the Dallas Cowboy Football Team. While it was not a Marriott Golf Course its reputation was too good to pass up playing a round. It was a beautiful course that intertwined the history of the team by displaying a summary of momentous occasions at every tee-box. The 4th hole has a "Lone Star" in the center of it's fairway - supposedly if your tee-shot lands on the star you'll get a "cheer" from some of the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders (of which we were not even close to the Star, to find out if this was even remotely true!).

Look for a golf package that include all food and non-alcoholic beverages - is a good deal if you are hungry! The Staff was very welcoming and friendly. We definitely enjoyed the round - Liz especially as she shot a 94! One of her lowest - and with rental clubs... of which she is now looking to purchase a few of those Taylor Made woods she was using.
