Famous as the former host of the PGA Honda Classic we golfed a round at Heron Bay Golf Course which is attached to the Marriott Coral Springs Hotel. The remembrance of the Classic was exciting to see - knowing that many of the "greats" had played these holes before us. In typical Florida weather fashion we had a delay in game to a monster thunderstorm that thankfully passed by fairly quickly.
The course was very nice, as were the staff. We particularly loved the details the GPS provided especially showing the waaaaaay toooooooo many sand traps! Needless to say we felt like we went to the beach rather than golfing - but as always made the best of the round.
